Reconciliation

After that last post I need something to restore my faith in humanity. This might do the trick:

In a symbolic act of personal reconciliation, two German students biked 5,000 kilometers from Berlin to Jerusalem to present Yad Vashem with a stone from a German concentration camp.
The two Germans, Alexander Laesicke, 25, and Aaron Blankenburg, 21, cycled for six weeks between the Holocaust memorial sites in Berlin and Jerusalem in order to hand over the stone from the Sachsenhausen concentration camp...
At the Jerusalem ceremony Sunday, the two German students were united with a Jewish survivor of the camp, Polish-born Henry Kanner, 74, of the Tel Aviv suburb of Givatayim, who said he was nearly "moved to tears" by their symbolic gesture.
